unexpectedly that day
for the loss
that came our way
too many are missing
and even presumed dead
united we begin
to piece together the threads
no, we won't be the same
we need to be stronger now
for only love can conquer hate
we must show others how
weapons and bombs
are not what we need
it is peace and love
that must be the seed
to stand together
no matter what our belief
we will find what we need
we will find relief.

For those on a journey of healing
What message do you bring?
What song do you sing?
Is it your heart that is touched?
That you are loved so much?
I hear you when you cry
I know the reason why
Look inside to speak your truth
Let go of the hurts starting at your roots
Stand tall in the truth and beauty of who you are
Come home from that journey, wandering so far
Be attentive to the voice in your heart
Know that I will never part
With new energy and freedom walk
Let honesty, courage, patience, and faith
Be the truth that you talk
Come home to abundance, yours all along
The simple truth, of who you are, is your song!
Autumn Harvest
Autumn is a season of subtle reminders
Asking me to let go of many things
Letting go for today and tomorrow
That is where my freedom rings
Autumn is a time of harvest
A time of transformation
A time for me to face my inner self
And allow for reconciliation
Autumn can be uncomfortable
Yes! There is pain
Nothing beats the freedom from letting go
For there is so much to gain
Autumn challenges me to rediscover
My vision of life and hope
In my healing, I know
Comes new growth
Autumn teaches me to dream
Of the place I want to be
It encourages me to be strong
For where I am now, is where I truly am meant to be.
