God of bright flashing forth...

A poem by Janet E. Corso, Associate

God of bright flashings forth,
your invitation seen, responded to.
Yes, to prism living
beyond familiar edges:
places of grace and balancing,
rife with risk and plentitude.
We’ve come thus far
faceted in hope, knowing well the cost.
Disturbing all we knew,
you’ve partnered us
re-configuring, re-creating,
into this panoply of colors
this many sharded brightness
we are now.
Continue to shatter old visions
with new invitations
that dazzle us forward
to ever deepening places of risk; spaces
of radical gratitude – where ties more surely bind,
of liminality – where truth is sought and preached anew,
of ego calm – where listening and seeing can be one
And keep us turning slowly,
catching light,
from those whose light still pierces darkness well:
Catherine, Dominic,
and Jesus, who is Christ. Amen
